The images on this page were kindly supplied by Bob, and taken during a trip to the UK, the pictures below show the Lighthouse and DGPS beacon at Flamborough Head in Yorkshire, England. This beacon transmits on 290.5 kHz and transmits the ID number '687' with a baud rate of 100bps, its coordinates are: 54°06'94N 000°04'87W. Up until the late 1990s this site hosted a Marine NDB, but was later converted to DGPS after that service was closed down. All of the DGPS Beacons in England and Wales are run by the Trinity House organisation, which in 2014 celebrates its 500th anniversary.
