On this page you will find another fine collection of George's NDB images, which show various navaids and an associated automated weather reporting system. This album contains pictures of two NDBs: OX-407 Ocean City MD and CGE-355 Cambridge MD, and also the Automated Weather Observing System which is co-sited with the NDB at Cambridge. Both of these arfields are located on the Delmarva Peninsula on eastern shore of the State of Maryland. 'CGE' - 355 kHz is at the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport, which is located at position: 38.32-14N / 076.01-50W - [11 pictures], and 'OX' - 407.0 kHz at Ocean City, MD which is located at position: 38-21-45N / 075-11-51.52W - [3 pictures].

'Landy', OX 407 Ocean City MD is located on private property access only by a long driveway from Friendship Road in Berlin, MD.

NDB "CGE - 355.0 kHz", CAMBRIDGE-DORCHESTER
REGIONAL AIRPORT, MD, USA:

This NDB is sited at the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport off of Bucktown Rd in Cambridge, MD.

A Southern Avionics 34 foot mast, S/N 7412 (read from label on cap on lower loading coil).

The yellow cabinet holds a Southern Avionics Model PC1000C Antenna Coupler, S/N 953100103. Exterior to and immediately above the box is an additional base loading coil. See next picture.

A Vaisala (Finland) Automated Weather Observing System is located about 100 yards west of the CGE 355 mast.
