RUSSELL & ANDY'S MICHIGAN BEACON
HUNT PART TWO:

On this page you will find part two of Andy and Russell's 'beacon hunt' around northern Michigan, and some more superb shots of some of the navaids that they managed to track down. Amongst the beacons and navaids visited were CAD:269 Cadillac, Michigan, TV: 365 Traverse City, Michigan, CXK:251 Bellaire, Michigan and BFA:263 Boyne Falls, Michigan and you can also hear the sound recordings of some of these by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page. The pictures shown below also include CVX:222 in Charlevoix, which is currently off the air. You will also see Russ and Andy standing next to CXK's transmitter too.

My thanks to Andy & Russ for sharing the pictures of their trip with us, and if anyone else out there has any interesting NDB pictures they would like to see displayed here please feel free to contact us with the details and we'll be only too happy to create a page here in the gallery and display them for you!
