FINBAR O'CONNOR'S IRISH DGPS BEACON IMAGES

The images on this page were kindly supplied by Finbar, and show a number of the DGPS beacons that are operating in various parts of Ireland. You will find pictures of the DGPS beacon at Mizen Head in County Cork, which is at the most south westerly tip of Ireland, and also the DGPS beacon on Tory Island. We're very grateful to Finbar for sharing these wonderful shots with us, and for allowing us to display them here in Datamodes Photo Gallery.

This shot shows the DGPS Beacon at Mizen Head in the Republic of Ireland. This beacon operates on 284.0 kHz, and is located at N51.27'05 W009.48'80, and transmits the Reference ID of #660. (269.0kb)

Tory DGPSTory Island DGPS on 288.5 kHz

This DGPS Beacon was a former Marine NDB site, and is located just off the north coast of Ireland. (484.0kb)
