DALE POWELL'S ALASKAN NDB IMAGES

The images on this page were kindly supplied by Dale Powell, and show a number of the impressive NDBs that are operating in Alaska. Dale says the NDB at Kotzebue is the largest NDB he has ever seen, and this one has the callsign HHM, and operates on 356.0 kHz. HHM is a 1000 watt beacon, and as you can see from the images below, is certainly very impressive. Kotzebue is located above the Arctic Circle on the Chukchi Sea near Russia. The final two shots are from Barrow, Alaska.
